A Little 919 Day History

This celebration started as a simple idea from our friends at That Station, who began dedicating September 19th to playing local music all day long. What began as a radio celebration has grown into this amazing community festival, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it.

“919 Day is about bringing our community together to showcase the people, culture and creativity that make Raleigh so special,” says Jude DesNoyer, director of Centennial Campus Placemaking. “We’re excited to welcome neighbors, students and families to Centennial Campus for a night of music, connection and celebration.”

Bonus: Win Big!

Keep an eye out for That Station’s tent where you can enter to win a VIP experience at the upcoming Mt. Joy concert at Booth Amphitheatre. Because who doesn’t love a little extra excitement with their free festival fun?
